Catch Up (take 100)

I feel like I have 100 posts titled "Catch Up".  I guarantee that before this post is published you will be all caught up on what has been going on with the Little's.  For starters, let me tell you what is going on right now.  Riley-Anne is sleeping away in her room while the oldest two are "sleeping" in their room.  By sleeping I mean squealing, laughing hysterically, begging each other to get out of bed, driving their mother CRAZY! Brb.....

Well now, hopefully that little stern talking to they just received will settle them for a few minutes :)

The good news is this whole kids sharing a bedroom is a temporary thing!  Yep, we are moving!  In 20 days all children will have their own room to sleep in. Woo hoo!  We found a house that has tons more space than we have now, 3 bedrooms and an office.  More good news, I don't need an office and Ryan has two at school, so I think he is taken care of in that area, so Garrison will be sleeping in there, leaving the girls their very own rooms!  No more crazy kid parties at bedtime!!!

We put our house up for rent and we had renters literally the next day.  We had another house in mind that we have been crazy about for forever.  We immediately called to see if we could work some kind of deal were we could rent then buy it at the end of our "waiting period"(we have to rent for a year so we can show our rent on our house we own as income, thank you Obama for all these new crazy rules :).  Well, we had no response from them.  Then we went out and looked at some other rentals  and let me just ask you, have you ever looked at houses for rent?  Wow, some of these houses were nuts!  Like 5 inches of dirt on the floor nuts!  I'm exaggerating a little bit, but seriously...  So we left our first round of house hunting feeling pretty discouraged.  Well, the next day one of Ryan's co-workers mentioned her house that was for sale that we could possibly rent, she would just have to talk to her hubby first.  A couple days later we found out that we could rent it and move in at the end of the month!  Isn't God good?!?!  We are so excited!  1300 square feet is fine and I can make it work, but, Im not gonna lie, I can't wait to spread everyone out!

Thats a lot of wordage without pictures, so here ya go...

Do you know all that vacationing with kids entails?  Lots of psycho list making, packing things on top of the car (can't you just hear the Beverly Hillbilly's song) and loosing children in your vehicle.  Where are you Riley-Anne?  But, we did it anyway and headed to the beach.  The babies stayed the first few days with us, then me and Ryan stayed the rest of the week to celebrate our five year anniversary (go us!)

We had a great time having friends over (Garrett and Sarah, if you are reading this I am still so embarrassed over Gar and AP's behavior that day), eating a late night dinners with Rachel and Allison (and having 2 hour conversations in a parking lot).  Ryan even found some time to go fishing with Stephen while he was in town!  Which was fun, even though poor Sophie thought we lost Charlie on the beach ;) Seriously, nothing can beat a beach vacation.  It was sooooo relaxing, especially the second half of the week.

This was the transportation of choice to get to the beach from the condo.  Look at Allie-P holding onto those chips for dear life!  Thats my girl!  What is not pictured is me with Riley-Anne strapped onto me in her sling, while Im carrying the typically huge mom beach bag, Ryan with our tent on one shoulder and carrying the ice chest with the other hand.  He was also the lucky one who got to pull the wagon ;)

Sweet Riley-Anne went to sleep right on the beach.
Best. baby. ever.

Ryan took Garrison fishing for a little "man time".  They didn't catch a single thing :(  But, like Garrison says, "You never know what's going to happen when your fishin' "

This is a pic of the kids in their Easter outfits. Obviously.  I had the great idea to dress them and haul them down to the beach at noon.  DUMB, DUMB, DUMB.  Noon is nap time.  They all lost their minds, it was stinkin' hot, sand was flying everywhere, and Garrison peed on himself, so we gave up :(

I did get some cute pics of them playing in the sand... not exactly what I had in mind, but it will work.

Ryan and his buddy Stephen fishing.

The day before we had to leave we sat out on the beach from around 2 until the sun went down. It was ah-mazing.

Well this is ridiculously long... but you are all caught up!  Thanks for hanging in there :)

Wash clothes much?

It might be time to start up the washing machine when your children are celebrating Christmas in May ;)

Before the beach trip/catch up

This post will more than likely be all over the place.  I have given up on naptime today, so me and my little buddy Garrison will be typing this post together!
Easter party at school, irrigation jobs for Ryan, birthday parties, play dates and tons of packing filled our days the week before we left for vacation!
I'll start with Easter party pics:

Well, just one, they all look like this.  Garrison with a mouth full of candy!  The party was simple but fun, perfect for a bunch of three year olds.  We ate some lunch, did a little craft and then headed home to get spring break started!
While Garrison was at school (before his party) me and Allie-P got some fun park time with Kennadie and baby Shelton (as Allie-P says).  I wish I would of remembered to take some pics of the girls, they had such a great time!  I had a great time too hanging out with my favorite football wife, Audrey! I only had one child with me and I couldn't even swing one picture?! Seriously Emily, where has your brain gone?
On a side note, did I mention I forgot to pack Garrison an Easter basket to hunt eggs with and I totally forgot to make treats for their treat bags?  So, after seeing the beautifully monogramed baskets all the other children's moms remembered to send, I sprinted back to our car dumped out our shoe basket (yes we keep most of the kids shoes in the car) and Gar hunted eggs with it. I did wipe it out a little first :) Then on the way to the park me and AP swung in Carpe and picked up 7 of the cutest Easter cookies you have ever seen!  Too bad they didn't have eight, Allie-Parker let me HAVE IT the entire ride home. Mom of the year saves the day :)
Moving right along...
Last Saturday me and Crystal went to the Belk charity sale.  It was so much fun!  We got there at 5:45ish and shopped for 3 hours!  It was great!  I remembered to pack my camera, but did not remember to take a picture of us!  Again, I think I function better in chaos!
Last weekend we also had Kennadies birthday. Ken and Audrey threw a great party with tons of great things for the kids to do, including a bounce house. Kennadie was so cute opening her gifts! She got so excited with each one and would run over and show them! Happy 2nd bday Kennadie! Thanks for being such a great buddy to Allie-Parker!
Beach pictures and post coming soon!  I know you just can not wait!

Anything you can do I can do better

Allie-Parker copies everything/looks up to Garrison so much (however you want to take it).   Everything he does, she not only has to do herself, she has to be perfect at it. While this is super cute, and she has perfected tons of task, she gets so frustrated when she can't do something! Poor girl, she doesn't realize that Gar has had 16 more months of experience than her!
Here are just a few examples of Allie-Parker's "me do" attitude: If Garrison puts his clothes on by himself, dad-gummit Allie-Parker is going to do it herself too. If Garrison is eating with a fork, Allie-Parker will sling her food all over the kitchen until she gets it right!  It's pretty funny to watch, but very messy!
Last but not least, while we were out in the backyard playing, Gar packed up his chair and cup and said he was "moving on"...
Two seconds later... look who else has her chair on top of her car.  Allie-Parker had her cup in the back too, but when I got ready to take the picture she must of got a little thirsty :)

The dreaded first dentist appointment= not that bad

Garrison went to the dentist for the first time last Monday and he has been flossing his teeth constantly ever since.  Seriously.
He did so great at his appointment!  He made it through the entire cleaning.  My bf Crystal works there and she took some great pics to document the big day while my boys were getting there teeth cleaned.  Just so you know, Ryan had a great appointment too- no cavities :)
Practing saying "ahhhhh"
Adjusting his shades
So proud of my sweet Garrison!

Mollie turns one!

I can specifically remember a moment when me and Ryan were first married... we were sitting at our table in our Midtown house and I said, "Do you think life will ever slow down for us?" Ha, are you kidding me?!  I seriously thought I was so ridiculously busy and don't even get me started on how tired I thought I was ;)  I wonder if God sometimes laughs out loud at us!
Anyways, life has been busy 'round these parts the last few weeks.  But, a fun kind of busy.  Lots of days with friends, birthday parties, yard sales, new nap schedules, new room mates, etc.  Sadly, the only event that I remembered to take pictures of was Mollie's party and I only took like five!  I will try to be better.  Honestly, four months in to having three babies, we are doing good just to be there :)

Seems like just a few months ago she was this size!
Well, Mollie is all grown up up now!  Have I mentioned she is a soon to be big sister?  Mollie's mom, aka Rachel, is pretty much super mom!
Yummy, delicious, ruin your diet kind of cupcakes.  Mmmmm they were so good :)
Sophie enjoying her scrumptious Dora cupcake!

The party was so much fun and a huge success!  We all had a great time chasing around our kids at The Watermelon Patch and visiting with friends and family.  Did I mention that the cupcakes were great :)
