Promised pictures

Here are the pictures that I promised.  I achieved my two goals for the day : 1)Update the bloggie blog 2) Take a shower.  Go me :)
On the way to visit the Dr.
This was the cute outfit she was going to wear- before she spit up all over it

Allie-Parker is one month old!!!

You heard right- sweet darling Allie-Parker is one month old!!! Five weeks to be exact!!! We went for her well baby check up yesterday- and she has gotten soooo big!!!  She weighed in at a big 9 pounds and 3 oz (she has gained 3 pounds in five weeks!) and was 21 1/2 inches long!!!  I thought for sure she was going to be off the chart- but she is in the 40th percentile for both height and weight.  Dr. McDonough said that she was super strong and looked beautiful, I, of course, agreed.
Dr. M also changed her formula to one that is soy based.  Thank you Ryan's side of the family for having milk allergy ;)  Hopefully this will help her fussiness and diaper issues.  The Prosobee is already seeming to help- she took a 30 minute nap yesterday- which is a HUGE accomplishment for my children!
Onto a Garrison update.  He is doing well with the role of big brother.  He has started eating good again and is really minding throughout the day.  It is amazing what a spoon can do for a child :)  Gar has started feeding himself lunch and he is almost completely off of baby food (it's just so convenient :)  He can say almost anything and is very close to being able to crawl out of his crib!
He has however started waking up every night around 3 and staying up SCREAMING until about 5:30.  We thought it was his teeth so we felt bad for a few nights, then we "tested him" by putting him down to see if he would play and sure enough he walked right over to his toys and was fine!  So last night we let him cry in his crib for two awful hours.  Please pray that God will guide us and give us wisdom on how to tackle this issue.  Garrison is a wonderful little boy- but he is def at the age now were he can be purely defiant.
Enough of the complaining though!  I have some pictures that I really should post of Allie-Parkers one month checkup, but seeing that I started writing this at 8:30 and it has taken me until now (1:00) to finish it- I am going to take a nap while both babies are sleeping :)

Time for a change

So- I am contemplating a blog change- with a title that does not include our last name!  I usually don't watch Oprah (frankly I can't stand her) but I caught a show the other day stalking about children being stalked and their stalkers finding their pics online.  Well sure enough you can type in my sweet babies names and up comes their pictures and where we live on my blog.  So I am currently in the process of coming up with a new blog "name" and address- any suggestions?

Recent Pictures and Events

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and is enjoying their Spring Break (if you get one).  We had a great Easter- it was a bit crazy trying to get all four of us out of the house- but we made it to church -EARLY, even after having to turn around twice to go back to the house and stop at Starbucks for a caffine fix!
Allie-Parker did great on her first visit to church.  Of course, she made it through the singing then woke up right as the preaching started!!! I had forgoten what it was like to spend my Sundays in the baby room feeding a fussy child!!!  But we did ok!
Garrison did good too.  I was nervous about how he would act at nursery since we really haven't been apart since sisters birth- but he went right in- I think the Goldfish helped :)
Here are some recent pictures of miss Allie-Parker and her handsome big brother.  She is growing up fast and it hurts my heart.  She is still very sweet and patient- but the good sleeper thing was just a trick!!!  But I just keep telling myself it will pass just like it did with Garrison.  She still loves to lay on a blanket and look around and she loves to snuggle (I prayed for a snuggley baby :)

Allie-Parker is here!

So- this is two weeks late I know :( But Allie-Parker is here and she is WONDERFUL!  She was born March 18 at 12:55 and weighed 6 pounds 9 oz.  She is already getting big and it hurts my heart.  She is a really good baby- very patient and likes to sleep for the most part.
Garrison is doing well with her surprisingly.  He def has his moments (who doesn't?!?!) but he loves to help burp her and give her kisses.
Allie- Parker is a wonderful addition to our family!  We are all in love :)
