Two month stats

Allie-Parker visited the Dr. for her two month check up last week, I think?!?!? Dr. said she was looking great, very strong and smart (would you expect anything less?!?!) I am just a little bit proud of her!
She weighed 11 pounds and 4 oz. and was 22 in long. She had to get a few shots- but she did better than me! After the doctor visit was over we went shopping at Babies R Us and Tiny Town. I bought Garrison a potty chair while we were there. I got some real strange looks because I had a potty in my buggy with a two month old. I felt the need to tell everyone we passed that I wasn't planning on teaching Allie-Parker to use the potty anytime soon!

3 years!

Honeymoon to the Bahamas, check out Ryan's cool shades and necklace ;)
Skinny Emily
The bridal party- everyone looks real young
Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Little

We made it! Me and Ryan will celebrate our three year anniversary tomorrow! Can you even believe it?!?!? While we have only been married for three years we have been together for seven- what?!?!?! No wonder I get on his nerves from time to time ;)
I wont get all mushy on you guys- I will just say that I am in love with Ryan Little.
Here are some pics from our wedding. I do not have too many of them on our new computer and I am too tired to try to figure out how to work our new scanner. So please enjoy and take note of me and my skinny tan self :)

Finger Painting

So in an effort to keep Garrison entertained throughout the day I have been trying to come up with new things for him to do. So today we were trying finger painting. We had a complete fiasco with it awhile back, but he is 6 months older now so I just knew he would love it.
Well, he hated it. He cried the entire time. He did not like having the paint on his hands, he did not want to touch the paper, he hated it all.

How do you do it?

<span class=

I have had a few people ask how I manage to not go crazy with an 18 month old and a soon to be 2 month old. Well, the secret is out- I do not do it alone. Let me introduce you to my friend, Starbucks. I admit it- I go almost every day, well, every day and get a grande mocha frap with no whip cream. I tend not to venture out and try anything new. I did however try to get into the skinny latte, seeing how I have about 20 more pounds to loose, um it tasted like dirt.
When I pull up to order the barista (isn't that what they call them?!?!) just says my order to me and says pull around. She also usually asks how the babies were last night- I should be embarrassed by this, but I'm not. Starbucks- thank you for helping me make it until 6:30 every night, thank you for giving me five minutes of "me time", thank you for being so delicious.

Both babies asleep- what?!?!?

Just to let you know both babies are asleep and have been asleep since 8. Both are in their cribs (Allie-Parker, until tonight, has been back and forth between crib and swing- terrible I know). There was no crying fits tonight from anyone in our family :) Garrison went right down and it didn't really take Allie-Parker long either. Bye bye colic and gripe water, hope to never see you again!
P.s today is mine and Ryan's SEVEN year dating anniversary! Nuts isn't it?
But enough talking I am going to bed and enjoy, hopefully, a night of silence and rest full sleep.

Identity crisis

There are the four categories that our days now fall into. Good days are when both babies are happy and most of their needs are met, bad days- well that describes itself, lucky days are when both babies are fed and actually nap at the same time and "thank goodness for new days" are the worst of the worst. We haven't really experienced too many of them since bringing Allie-Parker home- but today would definitely qualify!
Garrison woke up at 1:30 (yes in the a.m) and stayed awake crying until about 5. I would of loved to just shoved some ear plugs in and tuned him out, but he is my child and the motherly guilt kept me awake all night tossing and turning over silly questions like - did he have cheese at dinner (he is lactose intolerant BIG TIME), did I give him enough attention, and hundreds of other things that you don't think of until your child is screaming your name for 4 hours :(
On a positive note Allie-Parker slept through the night- but that was the last time she slept until now- 8:30 at night :( Boo! Needless to say the day was rough!
I constantly feel like one of them is not happy. If I am playing with Garrison, poor Allie-Parker is just hanging out in her bouncy, if I'm playing with Allie-Parker Garrison is getting into everything and screaming for juice. How do Mom's with more than two do it? Much less Mom's with multiples?!?!?
Both babies are asleep now and me and Ryan actually got to hang out - luckily Allie-Parker's colic is all but gone so we don't have to battle that anymore every night.
Thank goodness that tomorrow is another day and I get another try at being a Mom of two!
*Picture explanation and title: I was making up our bed today and Garrison just walked into the room wearing a headband. Me and Ryan have been saying that he has been going through an "identity crisis" since he is now a brother- and then he walks in with a headband on- HILARIOUS*

All in a days work

Every day around 4:30 or so, especially on Fridays, I start to go a little nuts waiting on Ryan to get home . It is by this time I have ran out of creative ideas to entertain two children and just can't take reading "The Busy Cow" book one more time!
What do you do to kill time before "Daddy" gets home? This is what me and Garrison do. Thank goodness for photo booth.

We did it!!!!

Before going in...
After, with our one bag of groceries :)

After seven weeks of only going places that have a drive through it was high time I got out by myself with BOTH babies.  It seemed simple enough.  So today we were out of Soy milk and juice so I forced myself to go!  So after feeding Allie-Parker, changing both babies diapers, making Garrison a juice cup, putting Allie-Parker in her seat, chasing Garrison down the sidewalk (he likes to run while I'm putting sister in the car, safety hazard, I know :) we were off to the store.  And the trip was a SUCCESS!!! Garrison pointed to everything and said "MOOOO", the child thinks he is a cow I am afraid, and Allie-Parker cried at first, then went to sleep.  Sure, it only took about 10 minutes to grab two things,  but this was a huge accomplishment! Next week-  Bible study here we come! Hope the nursery is ready for a boy who thinks he is a farm animal and a little girl who does not like to sleep .
