It just hit me that I didn't write anything about Garrisons eye diagnosis. His nurse called late last week to tell us that his results were back from his eye exam- so I was expecting to hear- Garrisons eyes are great see you at his 1 year appt.! But instead she said "Mrs. Little, will you grab some paper and a pen you have some things to write down". It was at this moment that I began to FLIP OUT!
If you know me you know that I am an overly emotional person, and when something goes wrong, especially having to do with my family I tend to (lets be honest, I do) fly off the handle and all reason goes out the window.
Any way the nurse proceeds to tell me that Gar has moderate farsightedness in his left eye and that his eyes see differently. One is the farsightedness and the other seems to be seeing blurry. So at this point I am BALLING and reason is flying out of the window. The poor nurse kept saying, "really its ok, it can be fixed with glasses." All I could mutter back was- "I know, (sniff, sniff, sniff) I just want the best for him...I'm sorry Im crying, Im pregnant again." What was I thinking? I know for a fact she wrote on my chart "Do not contact mom, call Dad first".
So, any who we are going tomorrow to have some more extensive tests done to make some sense of all of this.
Shoot- I just realized we have to be there at 8:45 and that is right smack during nap time- this should be interesting!

Hey Emily. I hope everything went well with the Dr. appointment. I would love to talk and see what else has been going on.
