The dreaded first dentist appointment= not that bad

Garrison went to the dentist for the first time last Monday and he has been flossing his teeth constantly ever since.  Seriously.
He did so great at his appointment!  He made it through the entire cleaning.  My bf Crystal works there and she took some great pics to document the big day while my boys were getting there teeth cleaned.  Just so you know, Ryan had a great appointment too- no cavities :)
Practing saying "ahhhhh"
Adjusting his shades
So proud of my sweet Garrison!

Mollie turns one!

I can specifically remember a moment when me and Ryan were first married... we were sitting at our table in our Midtown house and I said, "Do you think life will ever slow down for us?" Ha, are you kidding me?!  I seriously thought I was so ridiculously busy and don't even get me started on how tired I thought I was ;)  I wonder if God sometimes laughs out loud at us!
Anyways, life has been busy 'round these parts the last few weeks.  But, a fun kind of busy.  Lots of days with friends, birthday parties, yard sales, new nap schedules, new room mates, etc.  Sadly, the only event that I remembered to take pictures of was Mollie's party and I only took like five!  I will try to be better.  Honestly, four months in to having three babies, we are doing good just to be there :)

Seems like just a few months ago she was this size!
Well, Mollie is all grown up up now!  Have I mentioned she is a soon to be big sister?  Mollie's mom, aka Rachel, is pretty much super mom!
Yummy, delicious, ruin your diet kind of cupcakes.  Mmmmm they were so good :)
Sophie enjoying her scrumptious Dora cupcake!

The party was so much fun and a huge success!  We all had a great time chasing around our kids at The Watermelon Patch and visiting with friends and family.  Did I mention that the cupcakes were great :)

My Day

  • Make three breakfasts (one being a bottle)
  • beg Allie-Parker to eat
  • make coffee
  • realize there is no hazelnut creamer, cry for a minute
  • clean up breakfast
  • dress three wiggle worms
  • Find tennis shoes... later they were found under the couch cushions (is your house crazy too? please humor me and say yes)
  • get everyone in the car
  • walk Garrison into school (with my girl wiggle worms)
  • take girls to library time
  • come home
  • Mrs. Polly comes over for a minute
  • make screaming, hungry girls lunch
  • beg Allie-Parker to eat
  • clean up lunch
  • short naps
  • wake girls up to get Garrison from school, cry for a minute again
  • pick Garrison up
  • Get spit up on by Riley-Anne while we are there
  • drive home while listening to Elmo talk about amphibians
  • get everyone out of the car
  • change two diapers
  • lay everyone down for a nap
  • watch Riley-Anne put herself to sleep, possibly the sweetest thing I have ever seen, cry for a minute again :)
  • SWEET SILENCE!!!

Riley-Anne's Birth

This is just a tease! I thought I was going to be able to FINALLY write about Riley-Anne's birthday- but the little munchkin has decided to wake up from nap:/
Here is a little preview... this is how we spent the night of Oct. 17...

Sad, Sad Day

This is what it looks like to be a prisoner in your own home. Not only would Ryan not go into OUR OWN BEDROOM to get a pillow because of a sleeping 4 month old, he wouldn't open the hall closet to get a blanket in fear of waking the oldest two! Instead, he decided to sleep in the ugliest (but free) rocker with a towel as his blanket :(

Sick Babies

Well, after two years of avoiding the stomach bug, I am very sad to say it has decided to come visit and refuse to leave our house. It all started on Tuesday evening at dinner. Allie-Parker refused to eat, which should of been my first clue something was wrong! Ever since that night it has been taking us down one by one :(
We have separated Riley-Anne for the 100th time this month. Before the stomach bug we all had super high temps and coughs... just when everyone started sleeping through the night again in comes relentless barf. Ugh, sorry that is gross, but true ;)
I just keep telling myself, "We will live through this". At least I hope so!
